This month was an extra fun one.

The evening started the way the best ones do, with a drink in hand and members catching up around the cars. Champions Club has always been about two things: the cars that bring everyone through the door, and the conversations that happen once they are inside. October delivered on both, and then some.

Club Updates

Before the main event, we had some news to share. Freedom Supercars has partnered with Art of Helmets, and members can now use code FREEDOM15 for 15% off. For a club full of people who care about the details, a helmet built to match your style is a natural fit.

The Newest Addition

Then came the moment everyone was waiting for. We revealed the newest Tier 4 car in the Houston lineup, the Aston Martin DB12.

Aston Martin calls the DB12 the world's first Super Tourer, and it earns the name. Under the long hood sits a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 making 671 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, enough to reach 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds and carry on to a top speed of 202 mph. It is the most powerful DB in the company's history, but the numbers only tell half the story. The cabin is all hand-stitched leather and modern technology, and the car is just as happy on a long weekend drive as it is making an entrance. It looked right at home under the lights, and more than a few members were already asking about their reservation calendar before the night was over.

Guest Spotlight

Next, Pedro from 4 Tempos took the floor to talk about something members had been admiring all evening: the custom engine table in the room. Pedro is the artist behind it, and he walked us through how he turns real engines into one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, from sourcing the engine to the finishing work that makes each table its own. He stayed for a Q&A afterward, and the questions kept coming.

Ending With a Bang

To close out the night, Durwyn from Dryvebox rolled out their mobile golf simulator and invited everyone to step up and test their swing. What started as a few friendly practice shots turned into a full competition, and it got pretty intense!

Afterward

It was an amazing night with great people, and the conversations kept going long after the last swing. A few groups carried it on to dinner afterward, which is always the best sign of a good Champions Club.

We hope to see you at the next one.

About Pit Lane

In F1 races, no racer could make it to the end of the race without heading down pit lane. This is a crucial part of the race where the drivers take a fraction of the race to ensure they have the right tires, are full of fuel, and all the active aero on the car is working at 100%.

Inspired by this essential racing strategy, we have created “Pit Lane” for our members. These gatherings are designed to foster deeper connections as we listen to guest speakers, have insightful discussions and enjoy community building opportunities.

For those considering membership, there's never been a better time to join our dynamic and welcoming community. We invite you to become part of the Freedom Supercars family, where every day offers something new and exciting. If you're a car enthusiast who loves the thrill of driving high-end cars, there's no better way to do it than with a supercar subscription. It's cost-effective, offers variety, no depreciation, and hassle-free ownership. Plus we have tons of events like this one, that bring our members together to form a tight community of like minded individuals.
